A historic riverside pub tucked down the wooded bank at Old Bursledon, with decks and a pontoon looking directly across the Hamble toward Swanwick Marina. Its weathered maritime character, waterside access and seasonal pub cooking make it feel inseparable from the sailing life of the river. Very charming view of the riverside, built into the bluffs of the North Bank of the Hamble—lit by string lights in the evenings. Go for the slow-cooked beef-and-Guinness pie, then finish with the sticky toffee pudding.
